Let's Get Started

  1. Rinse the sauerkraut and beans under cold water.
  2. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the smoked pork ribs and cook until browned on all sides.
  5. Add the sauerkraut, beans, diced potatoes, bay leaves, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  6. Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the beans are tender and the flavors have melded together.
  8. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
