Indian Shrikhand
Shrikhand is a popular Indian dessert made with strained yogurt, sugar, and flavored with cardamom and saffron.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Pistachios - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Almonds - 2 tablespoons, sliced
- Saffron strands - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
- Greek yogurt - 2 cups

- Place the Greek yogurt in a cheesecloth-lined strainer and let it drain in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours, or overnight, to remove excess moisture.
- Transfer the strained yogurt to a mixing bowl.
- Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands to the yogurt. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
- Garnish with sliced almonds and chopped pistachios.
