Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the bread dough into a large circle.
  3. In a pan, cook the ground beef and onions until the beef is browned and the onions are soft.
  4. Add the tomato sauce to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Spread the beef mixture over half of the dough, leaving a border around the edge.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the beef mixture.
  7. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
  8. Brush the top of the impanata with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the impanata is golden brown.
