Ingredients - Serves 8

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, yeast, salt, and half of the flour. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  3. After 1 hour, add the remaining flour and mix well. Let it rest for another 10 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped walnuts.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Flatten each piece and place a spoonful of the sugar mixture in the center. Fold the dough over to seal the sugar mixture inside.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the pancakes in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  7. Serve the pancakes warm.
