Horchata Cold Brew
This refreshing and creamy Horchata Cold Brew is a delightful combination of traditional Mexican horchata and smooth cold brew coffee.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ice cubes - 1 cup
- Cold brew coffee - 1 cup
- Sweetened condensed milk - 1/4 cup
- Water - 4 cups
- Cinnamon sticks - 2
- Rice - 1/2 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a blender, combine the rice, cinnamon sticks, and 2 cups of water.
- Blend on high until the rice and cinnamon sticks are finely ground.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of water and blend again.
- Place a fine-mesh strainer over a large bowl and pour the rice mixture through the strainer, pressing down with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Discard the rice solids and transfer the strained horchata to a pitcher.
- Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
- Fill two glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour 1/2 cup of cold brew coffee into each glass.
- Top with the horchata mixture.
- Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top for garnish.
- Stir gently and enjoy!
