Coquito
Coquito is a traditional Puerto Rican holiday drink made with coconut milk, rum, and spices.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Ice cubes - As needed
- Cinnamon sticks - 2
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Ground nutmeg - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- White rum - 1 cup
- Evaporated milk - 1 cup
- Sweetened condensed milk - 1 cup
- Coconut milk - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- In a blender, combine the coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, rum, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
- Blend until well combined and smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a pitcher or bottle and add the cinnamon sticks.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve chilled over ice cubes.
