Ingredients - Serves 12
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Milk - 3/4 cup
- Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, cold and cubed
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold cubed butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the milk and honey. Stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together.
- Roll out the dough to a 1-inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
