  1. Rinse the sweet rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a large pot, combine the sweet rice, water, and diced pumpkin. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the pumpkin and rice are soft and cooked through.
  4. Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, puree the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  5. Return the mixture to the pot and add the sugar, cinnamon powder, and salt. Stir well to combine.
  6. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the porridge thickens to your desired consistency.
  7. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
  8. Serve the hobakjuk warm, garnished with pine nuts on top.
