Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. Add the cooked quinoa, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, until heated through and slightly crispy on the outside.
  5. Serve the burgers on the whole wheat buns with lettuce, tomato, and your other favorite burger toppings.
