Heritage Pork Chop with Apple Chutney
A succulent heritage pork chop served with a tangy and sweet apple chutney.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Apple cider vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Apples - 2, peeled and diced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste

Let's Get Started
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the apples, onion, brown sugar, vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook over medium heat until the apples are soft and the chutney has thickened, about 15 minutes.
- Serve the pork chops with the apple chutney on top.
