Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, celery, tomatoes, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the lentils, chickpeas, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and cilantro. Cook for 5 more minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
