Guacamole
This homemade guacamole is made with ripe avocados, fresh lime juice, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and spices.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Jalapeno - 1, seeded and minced
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Red onion - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Tomato - 1, diced
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Ripe avocados - 2
Let's Get Started
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Add the lime juice and mash the avocados with a fork until desired consistency.
- Stir in the diced tomato, red onion, cilantro, minced garlic, salt, cumin, black pepper, and minced jalapeno.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads.
