Grilled Sardines
These grilled sardines are a delicious and healthy seafood dish, perfect for summer grilling.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon - 1, sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh sardines - 8
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Clean and gut the sardines, removing the scales and innards.
- Rinse the sardines under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the sardines with the olive oil mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
- Place the sardines on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
- Remove the sardines from the grill and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
