Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Clean and gut the sardines, removing the scales and innards.
  3. Rinse the sardines under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Brush the sardines with the olive oil mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
  6. Place the sardines on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
  7. Remove the sardines from the grill and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
