Green Beans with Bacon and Caramelized Onions

- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onions - 2 medium, thinly sliced
- Bacon - 4 slices, chopped
- Green beans - 1 pound, trimmed
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the green beans until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onions and cook until they are soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and toss to combine with the onions and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the crispy bacon over the green beans and serve.
