Let's Get Started

  1. Place the carrots in a large pan and add enough water to cover them. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer the carrots until they are tender, about 10 minutes. Drain the carrots and set them aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, salt, and pepper and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add the carrots to the pan and toss them in the glaze until they are well-coated.
  5. Cook the carrots for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze is thickened.
  6. Sprinkle the carrots with the chopped parsley before serving.
