  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.

  3. Add the tomato paste, turmeric, red chili powder, ground coriander, and ground cumin. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

  5. Pour in the water and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover the pot and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and tender.
  7. Stir in the chopped cilantro and parsley. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Serve the Ghaliyeh Mahi hot with steamed rice or bread.
