  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rye flour, bread flour, yeast, salt, and caraway seeds.
  2. Add the molasses to the warm water and stir until dissolved.
  3. Pour the water mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  8. Place the loaf on a greased baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake the bread for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
