Garlic and Zucchini Beef Stir Fry
This delicious stir fry combines tender beef, garlic, and zucchini for a flavorful and healthy meal.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, sliced (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Zucchini - 2 medium, sliced
- Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add beef slices and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and zucchini. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until zucchini is tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour the soy sauce mixture over the ingredients. Stir fry for another 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and zucchini.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
