Gammon Steak

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Place the gammon steaks under the grill and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked.
  3. In a frying pan, melt the butter and add the pineapple rings. Cook until caramelised.
  4. At the same time, cook the peas in boiling water until tender.
  5. For the chips, cut the potatoes into thick chips. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large, deep saucepan to 180C. Fry the chips until golden and crisp.
  6. Season the gammon steaks with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the gammon steaks with the caramelised pineapple rings, chips and peas.
