Let's Get Started

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions. Let it cool.
  2. Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat.
  3. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice on the nori, leaving about 1 inch at the top free of rice.
  4. Arrange the cucumber, carrot, avocado, and pickled radish in a line in the center of the rice.
  5. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, applying some pressure.
  6. Wet a sharp knife and slice the roll into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
