  1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, cornmeal, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another shallow dish, whisk together the egg and milk.
  3. Dip each fish fillet into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture to coat evenly.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the coated fish fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fish fillets from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Toast the burger buns in a toaster or on a grill.
  8. Spread tartar sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  9. Place a fried fish fillet on top of the tartar sauce.
  10. Top with lettuce and tomato slices.
  11. Cover with the top half of the bun.
