Fish Burger
A delicious and healthy alternative to the traditional burger. This fish burger is made with fresh white fish, bread crumbs, and various seasonings, served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, and a homemade tartar sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tartar sauce - 1/4 cup
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Egg - 1
- Bread crumbs - 1 cup
- White fish fillets - 4 (6 ounce)
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the fish, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Toast the hamburger buns.
- Spread a tablespoon of tartar sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, a fish patty, and a slice of tomato. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve the fish burgers immediately, with extra tartar sauce on the side if desired.
