Fresh Berry Scones

Ingredients - Serves 8
- Fresh berries - 1 cup
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Heavy cream - 3/4 cup
- Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, cold and cut into small pieces
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and use your fingers to work it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
