French Onion Soup
This classic French onion soup is made with beef broth, onions, and melted cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Gruyere cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Baguette - 1, sliced
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Bay leaf - 1
- Thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Dry white wine - 1/2 cup
- Beef broth - 4 cups
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onions - 4 large, thinly sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
