Cabbage and Squash Gratin

Ingredients - Serves 6
- Gruyere cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Thyme - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Butternut squash - 1 medium, peeled and diced
- Cabbage - 1 small, shredded
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
