Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Rub the inside of a fondue pot with the garlic cloves.
  2. In a bowl, mix the grated Gruyere and Emmental cheeses with cornstarch.
  3. Pour the white wine into the fondue pot and heat over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.
  4. Gradually add the cheese mixture to the pot, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in the Kirsch and continue to cook for another minute.
  6. Place the fondue pot on a fondue burner and adjust the heat to keep the cheese mixture warm and melted.
  7. Serve with cubed baguette for dipping into the melted cheese.
