Flank Steak
This grilled flank steak is marinated in a flavorful blend of herbs and spices, then cooked to perfection on the grill.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Flank steak - 1.5 pounds
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the flank steak in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Make sure the steak is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
- Grill the flank steak for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. For medium-rare, the internal temperature should be around 130°F.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
