Fig and Bacon Wrapped Figs with Balsamic Reduction and Goat Cheese
These delicious appetizers feature fresh figs wrapped in crispy bacon, drizzled with a tangy balsamic reduction, and topped with creamy goat cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Fresh thyme leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Goat cheese - 1/2 cup
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Balsamic vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Bacon slices - 6
- Fresh figs - 12
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut a small slit in the top of each fig and stuff with a small amount of goat cheese.
- Wrap each fig with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place the wrapped figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the figs are soft.
