Fenway Frank with Boston Baked Beans

Let's Get Started

  1. Soak the navy beans overnight in a large bowl of water.
  2. Preheat the oven to 300°F.
  3. In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove the bacon and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, add the onion and cook until soft.
  5. Drain the beans and add them to the pot with the onions. Add the molasses, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  6. Cover the pot and bake in the oven for 2 hours, or until the beans are tender and the sauce is thick.
  7. While the beans are baking, grill the hot dogs until they are cooked to your liking.
  8. Place each hot dog in a bun and serve with a side of the baked beans.
