Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and place them in the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Cook until they are tender and slightly charred, about 5 minutes.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss with the peppers and onion to combine.
  7. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the oven.
  8. Serve the chicken fajita mixture on warm tortillas and top with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and chopped cilantro.
