Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, mix the butter, flour, and eggs until a dough forms. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic until golden. Add the heart of palm, tomatoes, cream, salt, and pepper. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  4. Roll out half of the dough and use it to line a pie dish. Fill with the heart of palm mixture.
  5. Roll out the remaining dough and cover the pie. Brush with a beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden.
