Egg Tart

Ingredients - Serves 8

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour and butter. Use your fingers to rub the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Add the ice water and stir until the dough comes together. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough and cut out circles. Press these circles into a muffin tin.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Pour this mixture into the tart shells.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden. Allow to cool before serving.
