Eel Ramen
This delicious eel ramen combines tender eel, flavorful broth, and noodles for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Nori sheets - 2, sliced
- Soft-boiled eggs - 2
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Mirin - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
- Eel fillets - 2 fillets
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Place the eel fillets on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the soy sauce, mirin, ginger, and garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles between two bowls.
- Slice the cooked eel fillets into bite-sized pieces and place on top of the noodles.
- Pour the hot broth over the noodles and eel.
- Garnish with sliced green onions, soft-boiled eggs, and nori sheets.
