Dourada Grelhada
Dourada Grelhada, or Grilled Sea Bream, is a popular dish in Portugal. The fish is seasoned with simple ingredients, then grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon - 1, sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sea bream (dourada) - 2 whole fish, cleaned and gutted
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Rinse the fish and pat dry. Rub the fish with olive oil, inside and out.
- Season the fish with salt, pepper, and minced garlic, inside and out.
- Place slices of lemon inside the fish.
- Grill the fish for about 7-8 minutes on each side, or until the skin is crispy and the fish is cooked through.
- Serve the fish hot, garnished with additional lemon slices if desired.
