  1. Press the tofu to remove excess water and cut into cubes.
  2. Toss the tofu cubes in the cornstarch until fully coated.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the tofu until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and red chili flakes. Cook until fragrant.
  5. Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar to the pan. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Return the tofu to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Serve the tofu topped with the chopped green onions.
