Creamy Pasta with Bacon and Onions

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the pasta water.
  5. Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and reserved pasta water to the skillet with the onions and garlic. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Crumble the cooked bacon over the pasta and season with salt and pepper to taste.
