- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Carrot - 1, julienned
- Bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
- Onion - 1, thinly sliced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Red chili - 2, thinly sliced
- Lemongrass - 2 stalks, minced
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, marinate the chicken with lemongrass, minced garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, carrot, and red chili. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Serve the Com Xao Xa Ot over steamed rice.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
