Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground pork, minced garlic, chopped shallots, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the pork mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the pork patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the pork patties from the grill and let them cool slightly.
  5. Fill a large bowl with warm water. Dip one rice paper sheet into the water for a few seconds until it becomes pliable.
  6. Place the softened rice paper sheet on a clean surface. Add a lettuce leaf, a few mint leaves, some julienned cucumber and carrot, bean sprouts, and a grilled pork patty on top of the rice paper sheet.
  7. Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a roll.
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining rice paper sheets and filling ingredients.
  9. Serve the grilled pork patty rice paper rolls with peanut sauce for dipping.
