Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties.
  3. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  5. Place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Top each patty with a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and a slice of onion.
  7. Spread ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on the top half of each bun, then place on top of the burger.
  8. Serve with pickles on the side.
