Churrasco Sandwich
This delicious Churrasco sandwich is made with grilled steak, chimichurri sauce, and crusty bread.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Crusty bread - 2 rolls
- Chimichurri sauce - 1/2 cup
- Steak - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the steak into thin strips.
- Slice the crusty bread rolls in half lengthwise.
- Spread chimichurri sauce on both sides of the bread.
- Layer the lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced onion, and grilled steak on the bottom half of the bread.
- Cover with the top half of the bread.
