Ingredients - Serves 4
- Beer - 4 bottles
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Vegetable oil - For frying
- Cornstarch - 1/2 cup
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Chicken wings - 1 kg
Let's Get Started
- Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper, then coat with cornstarch.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry the chicken wings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Toss the fried chicken wings in the sauce until well coated.
