Chili Ramen
This spicy and flavorful chili ramen is a delicious twist on traditional ramen noodles.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, chopped
- Ground beef - 1/2 pound
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced red bell pepper to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the soy sauce and sriracha sauce.
- Add the chicken broth to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles between two bowls.
- Ladle the chili broth over the noodles.
- Garnish with sliced green onions, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.
