Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into 4 patties.
  3. Grill the patties for 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. Heat the chili in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
  5. Place a slice of cheese on each burger and cook until melted.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and a few slices of onion and pickles on the bottom half of each bun.
  8. Top with the cheeseburger, a spoonful of chili, and the top half of the bun.
