Chifrijo
Chifrijo is a popular Costa Rican dish that combines chicharrones (fried pork belly or pork rinds) and frijoles (beans). It's typically served with rice, avocado, and tortilla chips.

- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Rice - 2 cups, cooked
- Black beans - 2 cups, cooked
- Pork belly - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add the pork belly. Cook until crispy and golden brown, about 10 minutes.
- In a separate pot, heat the black beans over medium heat. Add the lime juice and cilantro, and season with salt and pepper.
