Chicken Torta
A delicious Mexican sandwich filled with grilled chicken, refried beans, and avocado.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Torta rolls - 4
- Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
- Lettuce - 1 cup, shredded
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Refried beans - 1 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken breasts - 4, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Spread the refried beans on the bottom half of each torta roll.
- Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the beans.
- Top the chicken with avocado, tomato, and lettuce.
- Spread mayonnaise on the top half of each torta roll.
- Place the top half of the roll on the sandwich. Serve immediately.
