Chicken Marsala Linguine
A delicious pasta dish featuring chicken, mushrooms, and Marsala wine.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Linguine - 8 ounces
- Chicken broth - 1/2 cup
- Marsala wine - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mushrooms - 1 cup, sliced
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Flour - 1/2 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Chicken breasts - 2, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and garlic and cook until the mushrooms are browned and the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to loosen any browned bits.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 10 minutes.
- While the chicken is cooking, cook the linguine according to the package instructions.
- Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked linguine, garnished with the chopped parsley.
