Chicken Chettinad

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Curry leaves - a handful
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Chettinad masala - 2 tablespoons
- Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
- Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
- Tomatoes - 2, finely chopped
- Onions - 2, finely chopped
- Chicken - 1 kg
Let's Get Started
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Fry until they turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a few more minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
- Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, Chettinad masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pan and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
- Add a cup of water, cover the pan, and cook on low heat for another 20 minutes.
- Garnish with curry leaves before serving.
