Chicago Thin Crust Pizza
A delicious thin crust pizza, topped with your favorite ingredients and baked to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Black olives - 1/4 cup, sliced
- Mushrooms - 1/2 cup, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4, sliced
- Green bell pepper - 1/2, sliced
- Pepperoni - 1/2 cup, sliced
- Mozzarella cheese - 2 cups, shredded
- Pizza sauce - 1 cup
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Pizza dough - 1 lb
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. If you like a really thin crust, you can roll it out to a 14-inch circle.
- Brush the dough with a tablespoon of olive oil, making sure to get all the way to the edges.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
- Top the pizza with the pepperoni, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and olives.
- Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (or onto the pizza stone if using) and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
