Cha Kdav Sach Chrouk
Cha Kdav Sach Chrouk is a traditional Cambodian dish made with marinated pork and served with rice.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cooked rice - 4 cups
- Green onions - 4, chopped
- Onion - 1, thinly sliced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Lemongrass - 2 stalks, minced
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Pork shoulder - 1 lb, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemongrass, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the sliced pork to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the marinated pork to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Add the chopped green onions and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve the Cha Kdav Sach Chrouk over cooked rice.
