Cauliflower Gratin

Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk until the sauce is smooth. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Arrange the steamed cauliflower in a baking dish. Pour the cheese sauce over the cauliflower.
  7. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top of the cauliflower and cheese sauce.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
